Been trying to post some photos with this post but with no success. It's an old mid 50's gretsch. I was wondering about an approximate value.

Greetings and Welcome
There seem to be more of these turning up out there.
I have one too ( the only Gretsch and 6-banger )
in the fleet.
Die-Cast hoops would make her a tad younger than
yours I believe.
While completely subjective, the "Great Gretsch Sound"
is a matter of taste and application.
Cranked up, this drum will stop birds from singing and
records very well.
That said, it was a student model with a Jasper shell but fewer
lugs and a great sweeping snare bed.
It can be boxy, boingy, sloppy and just plain icky when compared
to its contemporaries. ( The Ludwig Pioneer for instance )
Expect between $75.00 to 125.00.
I would not sell mine for that price as I truly enjoy the instrument...
