- kit includes 22" bass drum, 16" floor tom and two 12" toms

- kit is in unaltered, complete, original condition except for missing bottom hoop & rods for the floor tom

- features include internal dampers, unique gold satin finish, stop sign badge #1 and more!

- owner is located in Melbourne, Florida and prefers to sell locally but all offers will be considered if buyer will pay for shipping

- owner would also consider trading for a vintage guitar or a small convertible sports car

In the other thread, they said Gretsch kits sell fast.

Did he bump his asking price up too high?

The only reason he bumped it up is because I gave him a copy of all of the glowing words from the gurus in the other thread.

And it IS just an "[SIZE="3"]Asking Price[/SIZE]" :)

Yes. and as for the advice, well, Gretsch prices seem to have taken a pretty good drop, unless you own them, and want to think otherwise. Check Ebay's finished auctions. Been watching "players" 12/16/22. A couple different ones went in the last weeks went for $500 to $600. Locally, there's a nice stop sign badge 12/13/16/22, he's dropped from $1200, to $750. Still no takers. A roundbadge 12/14/20's been up for a few days @ $850. A year or so ago, it'd been gone in hours at that price. Times are tough, prices down.......
