gretch round badge set,need to know if real asap,have 2 hours to return

I had just bought a round badge gretch set,white pearl,it was bought from the second owner who said he bought if from his drum teacher in 1969.It has the grey sealent in the inside shells,but no stickers,he has owned them since!I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A ROUND BADGE GRETSCH SET!! but i an no expert in this area!!If someone could help me with this asap,before he leaves(he is moving) i will be most appreciative,and will even send you an appraisal fee of some sort!! i have about 40 photos of the drums.my email is

Not a big issue. Stickers are like date stamps, some times they are there

and some times they are not.

The general concesus is the tags started some time in late 1962 or early 1963

So your drums are just fine without them.

From what you've said there's no reason I can think of to think that the drums aren't real.

I have 2 sets of RB's and neither came with labels.

I have gretsch drums bought new in 1961 (shells made in 58 or sooner - 3ply) and they don't have stickers in them.
