Got Me Some Tama's - W00T

My quest is complete. Growing up in the 70's and 80s ( I am 43), I loved Ludwigs and Tamas. I found a large set of 76 Ludwig 3ply's last year but I had yet to close the Tama search. Today the journey ended. Here are my new (well, new to me) 1975 Tamas :)

No, I found these today up in Wisconsin. They are heading to Texas tomorrow. The other ones had been modified. I realized the cross badge was missing and I saw the faint outline of the concert rectangular badge. The store ddnt seem to care and wouldnt budge on the price. I decided to pass, and boy am I glad I did. Once I get them, I will post up pictures.

Those look like rering era drums, which in my opinion are the BEST Imp's-rerings w/speckle paint.

Cool! I just sold a similar set (24/13/14/18/14x6.5KB snare). Looking at the photo of yours there looks to be some drums with the earlier muffler and some with the later style. Maybe a transition or maybe my poor eyesight.

Here's the kit I sold: http://www.flickr.com/photos/41363633@N00/sets/72157634965508266/

Perfect! I re-read the thread and saw what you meant about the modifications. Ya did good! So... how much? (heh heh heh... no shame here.)

I probably paid too much, but I gave $800 for the set. With tax and shipping it was close to $900. I don't want to know how much I overpaid but I need to know. Go ahead and be the bearer of my bad news.
