There is an interesting vintage kit that might be a steal. At the Guitar Center in Villa Park Illinois there is a Premier Resonator kit in gold wrap. Looks like it might be a 10x14, 16x16, 14x22. There is a non matching Premier 5x14 snare in a silver wrap with it. Price is amazingly low at $350 for all 4 drums. The Resonator series originally had a "shell within a shell" on the toms and BD, so when you pop the tom and BD heads and look down from the top you'd see a shell within a shell. The screws that hold the lugs to the shell are not visible when the inner shell is in place. Sometimes with these drums people have removed the inner shell (it pulls right out). Also, I am not sure if all the rims on the toms are original. Also not sure if the inner shells are in the toms and BD. Didn't stop to look. Anyhow, maybe this will be a nice kit for someone. These drums sound great with those inner shells in them and would probably still sound good with them removed, and for $350 you can go too far wrong.
