A friend has one for sale.........
Gold badge he says.....
Only prob.....the maple outer has been stained dark.....
Haven't seen them yet.......Maybe Sunday though.......
So,if no extra holes ,a G note is not out of line, right?
No snare

If it has a true 12x18 bass drum .....yeah I could see that.

That would be a good price for that particular kit (if everything else is in good shape) since the collector value has been compromised by the finish.
oh boy this sound so sweet love to see pics
I hope you're able to grab it and I agree on the price, assuming everything else is intact. Please post some pictures. Good luck.
Ludwig did offer the Jazzette in darker finishes http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/jazzette/ludwig-71.jpg http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/jazzette/1967_LUDWIG_large.jpg the photo in the 1967 add looks lighter than the 1971. I was under the impression that even an xtra hole fair condition kit would still bring a G/ plus, something that had been re stained I don't know.
Talked to my friend yesterday, and I THINK he is going to bring them over next Sunday..........
I'm going to try to have the $$$ on hand to grab........
He isn't exactly giving them away!
