once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

What I need is to find a good home for the kits and cymbals I'm trying to sell. I'll futz with selling parts later. It's hard for me to believe I haven't had anyone express an interest in the Blaemires, or the 61' Ludwig Sky Blue Pearl kit. Both are collectable/playable and in the case of the Blaemires, hard to find kits - and I priced them right in the trigger pull zone. You got me why they haven't sold yet.

Thank you!

Not yet, but it's time I do. I can't believe somebody didn't scoop up the 71' A.F. Blaemire kit, or the 61' Pre-serial Sky Blue Pearl Luddy kit. I thought those two would fly out the door. Go figure...

Hey John,

If you want, can you pm me who got them? I try to keep track of these kits. ;-)

I'll ask him. He's new to the forum so I don't know what his privacy policy is. I can tell you that they are going to Toronto, Ontario. I'll get his name to you if he says ok.

I'm crying man. My Blaemires...

Toronto is very near and dear to me. I had an old and very good friend who passed away who hosted a weekly Saturday night radio program out of CFRB 1010 AM in Toronto called, 'Strange Days Indeed.' I made a lot of Canadian friends through my participation in many of the broadcasts. Many Canuks hold a very special place in my heart. My drums are going to a good home.
