I did get in a set a of Adams heads in black to use for the resonant heads on an MIT kit I restored for a friend's son. They seemed to be similar in weight to most single ply heads, they were round, the finish was pretty flawless and there are no logos at all. They tuned up well, but it was not a very scientific test. The drums were pretty ho-hum to begin with. My assumption is they would work fine for reso heads on cheap kit restorations like the ones we are talking about. I believe they are available in clear, white (probably smooth not coated) and black. They appear to be available in 188mm and 250mm though I am not entirely sure what that applies to. my guess is there is a decimal point missing in there somewhere. Let me know if there is any interest and I'll see what kind of pricing I can do. My initial thought is that a 12" head would probably run about $6.00. as a point of reference. I have access to 10", 12", 13" 14" 16" and 22" heads. If there is any interest, I would probably place an order once a month as I don't really plan on stocking these myself.
