once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

RIP Glenn,

Actually met him at a Bar/ restaurant in Sydney in '95. They had just finished the concert & he was first to arrive.. (The bar was a regular haunt for the entire Eagles entourage).I knew they would be there that night as they had been there also the previous night. Started talking and we walked outside to a quieter "vacant" little courtyard with a few tables, so we sat talking for about 10 minutes.. I went back inside and told my wife he was out there, So she got to spend another 10 minutes with him before he was finally hauled off to their private room...

Would not have a photo taken with us, but did an autograph for us which is proudly displayed at my Bar...

Cheers

John

Great story, John!!Cheers

Yes thanks for sharing that story.

The Eagles were the soundtrack to the lives of millions. Their music crossed over many musical genres. Just a legendary band whose music is already Pop/Rock Standards.

The greatest gift you can give your family and the world is a healthy you. - Joyce Meyer
