It's my first time dis assembling a Ghost pedal spring cap

I know that you arn't supposed to do it yourself but I have a broken spring

so there is no tension to worry about...I am trying to pop off the cap with a couple of screw drivers

It dos'nt seem to want to come off with out getting rough

Is there some kind of trick to get it off there with out marring up the metal ?

I've got the button pushed down and between the clicks

I am not worried about putting it back together cause it ain't working like this anyway

ANY sage advice or tips much appreciated before I break something :)

Also does anybody have a line on parts new , used or otherwise ??
