I haven't figured out how to tell the difference between a ghost bidder and an uninformed noob who doesn't understand how Feebay works. Thoughts?
DOHMy moneys on some kid,who may or may not actually intend to pay,and who thinks"oooooohhhh shiney.....me want"This cluless individual, also has no idea of the real worth of said drum, and will drive the price up,just because he can.

Looks like a ghost. $2 dollar bids, even when no one bids higher. Someone should bid 250 see if he jumps on it. lol
I just might be wrong. It does look like a ghost bidder.last bid was only a buck though. The seller also has a Gretsch gold plated drum key.Now that would go nice with a caddilac green, gold hardware tom a forum member here won a short while back.Cool1

You don't get sufficient evidence to spot shill bidders (is that what you mean by ghost?) bidding up their own auctions. But $56 for an Acro seems ok, even if it is upside down. :D
Information about individual bidders can be obtained by clicking on the "cloaked" id of the bidder. I presume you were talking about 3***1 (who now has 1 feedback). The 3***1 is a link. Click on it and you get what you should see when you click on the URL below:
This shows that this bidder (cloaked name 3***1) has bid on auctions by 7 different sellers not just this one auction and one seller. That might make you happier, but it is by no means a guarantee that shill bidding is not happening.
Yeah. Looking more like just a EBay newbie. We've all been there! BTW, the price on this Acrolite is still pretty rightous so far, if anyone is interested. Auction ends in few hours.
