Although I mostly don't like very old snare drums at all,
this one is extremely beautiful, to my opinion.
The 12 lugs per side, separately for batter and
reso head, make it look interesting.
But - I wonder how do rim shots sound ...? ;)

Well, there are no snares on it and it's not tuned up so it doesn't sound much like a snare drum at all at the moment! This is more of a display piece for me anyhow.
