Hard to come by, as not a lot of these show up for sale

No issues with shell finishes or bearing edges. No pitting on chrome parts. These drums look practically new.

6-ply 6mm/7mm Thin Maple shells made by Jasper, drums built by Gretsch

45° bearing edges, reduced diameter shells, StickSaver hoops

17x22 bass drum w/tom mount plate. Has XLR and mic mount installed (not May/EA)

10x12 tom w/mount plate (a very tiny bit of rash)

Nice looking kit, but why is there so much "splay" on the snare tension rods? Is that just a photographic illusion?

People worry about splay...it's silly. These drums have seriously undersized shells. There's going to be splay. There's also going to be an explosion of sound coming out of these drums that will eat most kits for lunch. I gigged a violin red lacquer Slingerland Lite kit in the early 90s for several years straight...they were killer drums that just exploded with fat, juicy tone. These are killer drums. GLWS.

Thank you Treviso1. Yes, these are killer-sounding drums. They were modeled after the 1990s SonorLites, with the thin shells and Sonor-esque sizes.
