Nice drum, how does she sound??
I love the lugs !!
Man that is a very cool snare drum!!, you need to try single flange hoops with rim clips on it!!! i am still looking as the what, where?? etc this drum is??!!
I would,nt want to have to buy parts for it...I,d like to know the specs on her though, and how old it is.
Yeah, a real nice snare.
She sounds gorgeous!!!
The tightest, loudest crack you've ever heard!!
I played a gig with it at a local venue in Wrexham,North Wales, called Central Station, and had to take the mike OFF the snare!!
It is 14"x4". Brass, (brushed?), and thats all i really know about it.
So, single flange hoops, I know of, but rim clips? Not sure what they are. ?

Hey hey....
just a quick one on the g.a.m snare.
i'm thinking its copper not brass, with brass fittings.
D'oh!!:o
Hey :)
I got the exact snare my self, and can tell you that it is a italian, handmade copper snare. it is most likely made/bought in 2002/2003(?). The only thing I´ve read about it was in a Danish drum magazine who claimed it was "the snare of the year" in 2002 :)
It is supposed to be made from a Roberto Spizzichino design (who is claimed to be one of the greatest cymbal crafters),
