My brother has a Fender Rhodes electric keyboard that he was showing me the other day, and the pushrod going down to the sustain pedal was a piece of a Rogers hihat stand. We searched the internet a bit, and it turns out this was stock...CBS owned both Fender and Rogers for some time and moved Rogers drums to the same factory as some other Fender products. I guess this is where the mixing and matching started happening...
