I had a set back in 1964-5 or so...They were sold in the Sears catalog and came completely disassembled in one massive box...I spent a number of days after Christmas putting them all together. Played the heck of out them until I could make enough money to buy a classic Slingy Jet Outfit (chrome rims on the bass) that I still have today. (bought from Jack himself at "Jack's Drum Shop" in Boston) I have seen one, pretty "tired" Fuiji set out on E-bay, just one time quite a while ago. They were one of a long list of Japanese sets that came to the market at roughly that same time. There's quite a listing on one of the forums.

I had a drink called a 'Fuji Surprise' once... it seems if you had enough of them you would wake up in Fuji... whoever she was... DOH

Fuji drums are made by Star in about 1962 i think they ended in late 60's-[68-69]..Shells are thin 3 ply shells with rings at each end of the shell inside the drum..With out any photos of the set and not knowing how many drums,color,condition,hardwear and any missing parts to the set..I would guess any were from 50.00-200.00..Mikey
