This is a beautiful vintage Paiste 602 16" crash. Circa 1960's, give or take a few years as it is a pre serial era. This one is very medium/ thin at 1153 grams. It appears to be a factory finish with All of the original Paiste "protector coating" still on there. In the years that I've owned this, it has not been cleaned or polished and only used at rehearsal. I have included a pic of the inside of the bell hole so you can see the superficial scratches and one tiny green spot. No cracks and no keyhole. Just vintage Paiste goodness. The cymbal has very thin edges and flexes and wobbles easily but still maintains a medium feel when getting closer to the bell. Bell sounds wonderful. You can tell by the pic of the top, it has a the Paiste pre serial hammering that makes Paiste famous. The new ones are too thin! Crash opens up very quickly as you will hear in the video. I can also make another sound file if interested. This cymbal sounds amazing. I am only selling it for financial reasons. One of you is going to love it! Buy a grail cymbal for a fraction of the usual cost.
