The Sonor Perfect Balance Pedal By Jojo Mayer with Low Mass Drive System is a stunning drum pedal. The drive cam and beater hub are streamlined into a single unit for low mass and carefully calibrated for perfectly balanced strokes. Round cam design creates linear acceleration which is a major advantage for many hybrid techniques.

Pale - I've been hemming and hawing over this one because I've heard that the heel plate on those pedals are loose and noisy (clacky) when you play it. Is that true? I'm a heel/toe player so it's important to me. I don't want to 'hear the pedal' when I'm playing.

I've been using mine for the last couple years, lots of gigs. I'm a heel down player, so I may not be able to answer that part of your question, but I've never noticed any type of pedal noise.

The noise thing is something I got from a thread I read where some guys were discussing it. There's also a video on you tube reviewing the pedal and the guy makes note of it. That's why I was asking. I'd hate to spend $200 and end up with a noisy pedal.
