Early 70's Ludwig kit - 3 ply with re-rings in natural maple lacquer and

clear interiors. Sizes are 14x22", 9x13" and 16x16". This is an extremely

nice 40+ year old kit that tunes up easily and sounds fantastic.

To my knowledge, everything is original with the exception of the newer

OEM Bass drum tom mount and the replacement B/O badges. There are

no date stamps in the shells, typical for early '70s Ludwigs.

The lacquer finish is shiny with no gouges, tom rash or serious scratches

although there is some light checking. Chrome is very nice with slight

pitting. Set has been thoroughly cleaned.

The toms have new Remo Emperor batters with clear resonant heads and

Remo batter and resonant heads on the Bass. Shells are in round and heads

fit well. The tom mufflers are in good working order. Bearing edges appear

to be factory with no defects etc.
