Found a Club Date 13"!

Loading...

I found a 13" matching era Club Date tom in Champagne Sparkle to match the Club Dates I have in 12, 14, 20!

Only you guys/gals would understand my happiness:)

Now, if they only made a matching 10" I would be complete.

Was thinking of finding some of the bongos from that era and making a 2 head tom out of it.

I love the kit so much I saw another Champagne Sparkle 12, 14, 20 come around last year and picked it up so I have 2 (it was mint and $800 so I feel like a good investment either way)

Would love to set up the double bass with the 12 on the left bass and the 13 on the right.

I think Carter Mclean playing the old sparkle red Club Dates might increase the value a tad. The old ones have been less common on ebay recently.

Seems like they used to be a dime a dozen.

Thank you!

Nice find and nice drums! I've got a few 13" Club Date toms. They really talk!

Something about the center lugs they sound great as long as bearing edges are sweet

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
