This is a an original factory matched pair of 15" Avedis Zildjian hi hats from the early 60's ( 1.25" stamps). I found these years ago with a Slingerland kit. If you've been looking for a very nice pair of vintage hats, then look no more. Nice and thin at 914/959 grams. Both cymbals are dark and flexible. They articulate well and you can feel them softly under your stick. Great jazz cymbals for sure. The sound is mellow and the "chick" sound is what I hear on a lot of old records. These sound and look much like the Old A's from the late 50's. They both have a nice natural patina. Don't think that they have been cleaned any. I've not even wiped them down. The bottom cymbal has a ripple at the bell and into the lathing a bit. I've seen this on several Old A's. These will not disappoint!

Feel free to message me here or email to mikelayton@bellsouth.net if you have any questions. Thanks.

Thanks guys! I agree. These are just fantastic. I've got too many hats though. These are so nice to me that I really didn't play them enough, if that makes sense. I babied them, in other words. Heading cross country now!
