For sale is a classy Vintage 1960s Ludwig Club Date Drum Set in Black Lacquer in decent players shape. 12, 14, 20 sizes with 14 pioneer snare. Shells are in good condition and in-round with original factory edges. Black lacquer finish is decent but is very spidered, flaking and looks to have paint touch-ups. Bottom edge of 12 and resonant side of 20 have been painted black. Bass drum appears to have 2 plugged holes near badge from different rail location. Original white interior paint with apparent touch-ups. Nickel hardware is oxidized but in good shape. Nickel over brass hoops. Batter side bass hoop is a little warped but functional. New silver glass glitter inlays on both bass drum hoops. Nickel bass drum rail looks to be a vintage Gretsch with chrome L arm for mounted tom. Bass drum cymbal arm mount appears post-factory. Only date stamp found is in floor tom which is very faded or painted over and appears to read APR 13 1965. Keystone badge serial numbers are as follows: 14 pioneer snare 122710, 12 mounted tom 143892, 14 floor tom 144647 and 20 bass drum 141506. Could use new heads of your choice. Snare stand shown not included. Just a wonderful players kit with tons of class and tone!
