For Sale: Ludwig Hammered Bronze Snare

This beauty is a Ludwig Monroe badged 3x13 Hammered Bronze Piccolo snare. Unsure of the exact date. Old enough to have the older style traditional snare butt instead of the newer die cast version. These are 8 vertical lug models. Sounds fantastic! I'm not usually a 13" snare guy, but Ludwig got it right on these. Nice warm, full sound. Weighs 7 lbs by my scale. Good solid drum. Has fresh Remo heads top and bottom. Has 16 strand wires and new Ludwig snare cords. Strainer works great. Overall condition is very nice with just a few scratches here and there (mainly above the snare butt) as expected with usage. This one is easy on the eyes!

Please pm me here or email to mikelayton@bellsouth.net if you have any questions. Thanks!
