Have a set of fiber cases that I purchased with my stainless 24,24,14,15,16,18 kit, and the foam the company glued is deteriorating badly. I can scrape the foam off easily. Hard to explain but this stuff is deteriating at the touch. Glue residue is still there and sticky to the touch. Dont want to place them back in these cases due to this, and buying a full set of cases seem ridiculous if I can line these in a better manner...any ideas would be great!

Foam all does that in time. Best you can hope for is to clean out the crap. Use a mild adhesive remover sparingly so you do not deteriorate the cases. Line them with felt. Someone might have a better answer. This is why I hate foam cases.
Armacell - armaflex in sheets or roll is a real good way to get those cases back into shape.

The non-adhesive is probably way cheaper and u can buy you own can Of spray adhesive by 3M or equivilent
a straight edge and lots of fresh razor blades for your utility knife and a little critical thinking before u cut Lol is all u need ! U will be very happy with the results.
The last tip is trace out the case and cover with white chalk or silver color sharpie. Cut out with vertical ban saw or scroll saw with very fine tooth blade. The results will look like shown here. I used the 3/4" thick .
