floor tom mounted cymbal arm ?

From Kenwood

Hello again Mitch,Yeah I can not figure if this cymbal arm is originalmy gut feeling is that it was added at some point later onIt is neat and seems it could be very practicaland yes I do follow you in that they are what they areThe three hundred dollars is okay with me since the color is so cool

Well hey - if that cymbal arm is Rogers, you could recoup more than one third the cost of the kit, at least a hunnert dollars on ebay...if not I'd definitely use it.

And yeah that wrap is coolest of the cool!

Alittle info. I think is a ad on to the drum.I have that kind of set in the pass on STAR made cocktail drums along of other names from the 60s.Alot of m.i.j. Drums in the

60s had a cymbel arm with the snare set up snare, case, and a 10 or 12 inch cymbel The arm would mount under a t rod on the drum i also have seen them used on mounded and floor tom. The L arm is 15 INCHS end to end and 6 inchs at the L see photos.Iam doing this post from a cell phone.

Hello MIKEY777,

Thanks for the reply

Yes I have seen the MIJ snare drum with attached cymbal arm

on the snare stand

My brother Larry got one for Christmas around 64 or 5

About a year ago I bought this 3 piece BDP Whitehall kit

just a bass, mounted tom, and snare drum (no floor tom )

Anyway for my fifty dollars the seller threw in another BDP snare

It turned out being a Zim Gar and along with it was the stand, the cymbal arm

which attached to the snare stand and the one small brass cymbal

Wow,I totally forgot that my first snare was an orange sparkle Stewart that somehow had a small cymbal attached.

The wrap is called "Peacock Pearl". Here's my Lido Supreme snare drum in the same wrap.
