Don't have much luck with sidewalk finds down here... but this one was delivered by a neighbour who just found & rescued it for me.. Looks to be a 7000series from 70's-80's. Missing only legs, 1 rod, & 1 wingnut... actually sounds pretty good... seems to be some type of mahogany shell..
Any one know the leg diameter.. looks larger than the Slingerlands...

Made in Japan... Wrap is toast but all chrome will clean up ok.. Needs legs which appear to be 10.5mm Dia.. Do like the build quality of this drum... wondering what is under that wrap?, as inner ply has a really nice grain to it...
Also came with a Pinstripe batter & clear ambassador reso... sounded ok.. but turn it upside down & hit the reso, sounded ...ggggggreat...
Am convinced that a thicker reso on FT's works better...

They are great drums, I had a kit in White which had the same interior wood, I think it is called Agethis. Great find, now go out and see if you can find the rest of the kit :) Best, Doug
