Have the Gibraltar floating feet gone up in price? I haven't bought any in a few years. I just bought 4 sets. They were $6.30 at Music 123. That's where I usually got them in the past but seems like they were cheaper. I used their eBay page where Shipping was free on orders over $20 so that worked out well. Just curious if anyone else noticed this.

Yep. Sometimes when something gets popular... the price goes up. Every bass drum and floor tom I own has those rubber isolation feet on them. They bring the drums to life.

Wow! I bought some about a year or so ago and I seem to remember them being less than $4.00 a pack. They work great!
EDIT: Just checked my order history at Musicians Friend. Back in December 2015, I bought them for $3.99 a pack.

That's what I was thinking. They are worth every penny. I'd still like them to stay at this price for a long time.
DFD $5.09. I remember a few years ago these were a tad over $3 a pack. Great feet though I use them on everything.

It probably has to do with inflation, cost of manufacture, and the fact that DW now owns Gibraltar.
When I first saw this thread my instant thought was the price went up when Gibraltar got bought out. But then again it did happen a few years back. So it could just be standard inflation / demand. Here is a little info though -

It's actually kind of interesting and somewhat funny that DW owns Gretsch. But I'm not gonna lie, also a bit of " that's actually sad " in there as well.
I've never tried those floating feet.
I'll have to check them out sometime.
