Flat/Flush leg cymbal stands

Loading...

Hey Folks -

Back with another find, just wondering if these are sought after or junk.

I have 2 non-descript (no visible label or marking) smallish cymbal stands with legs that open to a flat position (i.e. flat to the floor). The pair do not match.

Anything I should look for? I'll get pics soon.

Thanks!

Ken

Some flat-based stands are sought after. Some aren't. Kinda hard to tell without pics, which we'll be waiting for!

Mediocre pic showing both. Note the one on the left has button type feet that are fastened to the legs, unlike the slip-on rubber feet on the other.

A bit of light surface rust on both.

Those are both pretty cool and people do look for 'em. Looks like a Luddy. Nice.

Thanks - it would make sense that it was a Ludwig, they're from a collection that had a lot of random Ludwig pieces, including an old oval throne.

Where would you value these - I'm totally clueless.

Ken. the one on the left is the first generation 1400, the right one is the more common one that most are familiar with, can you take a pic of the left one of the top tilter assembly? does it look like this one?

I don't see a name anywhere on the stand (including the cup).
