If the black paint is just rattle can it should not be too hard to remove. I had a bunch of Slingerland lugs and hardware that were painted rattle can silver. Perhaps to matte the shine on stage? Motsenbockers Grafitti Remover and a soft tooth brush did the trick here. In one pic looks like a lug was scuffed and the black came right off. I like my stuff chrome or nickel plated thanks. :o

Strip the paint off of the hardware and you're looking at $1600 worth of drums.

No brainer buy... if it was closer, it would be sitting in my basement.

Hopefully those tom mount mods have the same hole spacing as the original Ludwigs, leaving the shell undrilled for extras..Who would do such a thing to a kit like this?? DOH ..Someone with no inkling as to the worth of this drum kit, that's who..
