Finnish stone snare

I thought I had heard it all when it comes to drum construction, but today I came across the Finnish drum company, KUMU, which actually makes a snare out of stone:

Check out some of their other drums too...I know it is not vintage but the level of workmanship is impressive!

I don't know about the stone snare, but that drum kit of the month is a stunner!!!
