Fibes snares are climbing on ebay. What gives? Will the be worth what Camco's are worth now?
Fibes the next Camco?
I have sold 2 Fibes snares on Ebay and believe it or not, the 90's Austin snare went for more money than the 70's Martin snare. The snares are doing better, but, the kits are not selling very well. I hope the value of Fibes increase, it's great stuff! American handmade drums, Jasper shells, with real American parts, maybe, people are catching on.
My first kit, 1983 Ludwig Rocker? (it has the classic lugs and 4ply maple shell) 22,12,13,16 ..now in black oyster pearl. I still have it
Stop Sign USA Gretsch (80's), black nitron jasper shell 22,12,13,16
1995 Fibes Austin,Texas Badge (original owner) 22,10,12,16,18 in natural wood
USA 2007 Rosewood Gretsch 22,13,16 w/12inch 70's Rosewood Gretsch tom

I hope so too. I have all early 70's fibes that I've been mulling over selling. 12, 14 and 18 kick../ copper covered. I've been told the 18's are hard to come by. Also have a mint black Martin era snare..have too many kits and have to let a couple go.....was thinking of letting the fibes go...but am feeling ambilivant....
I don't understand why. Fibes are very nice looking and sounding drums, I wouldn't mind having me a set of one of those. That surge of demand hasn't hit Fibes I guess that drives the price up to something reasonable for the seller.
