Fair Trade: My '76 Vistalites for his Slingerland Magnums?

Loading...

Hey there,

I have a vistalite kit from '76 sizes 13x9,16x16, 14x22. The toms are in great condition. The one of the wingnuts on one of the bass drum legs wont tighten and the seam of the bass drum has been re-sealed. it doesnt look the prettiest on the inside, but it sounds awesome.

I have been wanting to get a kit with bigger sizes. Stumbled on this kit on craigslist.

It is sizes 16x24,16x18,9x13. Im assuming its the magnum series by the four bass drum and tom legs.

He said hed be willing to trade for a vistalite kit.

Is this a good trade?

I don't think it's a Magnum set, is it? My old Slingerlands have the four legs on the 18" ft and 24" kick.

What color vistalites?

Currently playing for loud rock and roll gigs:
1982 Ludwig Classic in white Cortex, 24-13-14-18 + Coliseum snare
For quieter gigs:
Early '70s Whitehall Tiger Eye Pearl 20-12-14-14
Neglected but thinking about:
Early '70s Sonor Champions in Rosewood, 22-12-13-16
