Fair market price on Roges kit, aisle 2 please

Have a PIECED TOGETHER BDP Cleveland 22,13,16 a good friend is interested in .

BD has extra holes from a Swivo mount at 12 'o clock near the back head.

Has very nice factory logo front head, and drum finish is quite shiny and not faded.

Nicest drum of the 3..........also,has a factory cymbal mount in front of the 13". Ride cymbal mount is in the normal position.

So,I guess it was a Buddy set up.

...............................................................................

The 13" is in pretty decent shape, with maybe a little fading.

.........................................................................................

The FT is the least nice drum........has some "greening" going on in 1 area.

I went through and put the nicest parts I had on the whole kit,so those look real nice..........nice heads too........

Without seeing it,what do you think is fair? $1,000? $1,200? $800?

There is a lot of $$$ just in parts off of the BD!

Thanks!

Blair

Blair - Never hurts to throw some poop on the walls to see what sticks! Start with your high price, you can always go down if you need to. Just 'feel the buyer out' and adjust the asking price accordingly. There -is- a price you'll both be satisfied with. Just takes a little horse-trading and negotiating to find it sometimes. You already took care of the hard part... he wants to buy and you want to sell. You'll both find a number that makes everybody smile.

Very best of luck with your sale.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I would put a swivo mount back on the bass drum (cowbell holder)and ask $1000.BDP is timeless, now there are no holes.Any pix?

Thats actually what I did.............I just have to cut down a "L" arm so it is not so tall for a cowbell..........

If he spun the BD around,I am thinking he could put a Rogers double tom mount on there>(where the extra holes are) .Except the spurs would be backwards now...........I have a Tower 8 by 12 that would work for now till I find a Holiday.

My friend has them at his gig now,so no pics.......
