FYI - For its day Excelsior made -quality- drums. I wouldn't gig a kit like that one, but it could be with the right hardware and heads. Nice project kit to restore, but more for storage and safe-keeping afterwards than playing. A little bit of drum history in that kit. Not many have survived intact 'as a kit' from that era.
