Trak is from a company that is a "stencil" distributor, HRK Drum Institute, Trak drums, Encore is one of the lines. They are Luan shells. I have a 16X16 Floor Tom, 8 lug. Nothing special, but after I rescued and refinished it in a polyurethane and glitter finish, it looks and sounds great. I have not treated the interior yet, and am not sure if I would benefit from it. Anyway, they are not high end, and should not be very expensive. If they are for sale, let's see some pix and we will let you know what they are worth, but don't pay big money, they are Perarl shells of the old Maxwin pre-Import luan type, and the lighter weight lugs. Not a high dollar set.

"Ignorance may be overcome through education. Stupidity, however, is a lifelong endeavor." So, educate me, I don't likes bein' ignant...
"I enjoy restoring 60s Japanese "stencil" drums...I can actually afford them..."I rescue the worst of the old valueless drums for disadvantaged Children and gladly accept donations of parts, pieces and orphans, No cockroaches, please...
