Visiting my sister in the twin cities for Thanksgiving and happened across the Ellis Drum Shop. Really great vintage collection on display... and a really interesting shop over all. http://ellisdrumshop.com/ good tour video on their site.

And he forward me on over to Willie's American Guitar shop which was an equally awesome guitar shop williesguitars.com.

Nice... FYI

Yep. The place is eye candy for those rare odd one of a kind vintage drum sets.

Jim, Did you go in back and see there fully equipped sound stage?

Pops... yeah spent about an hour.. taking some pictures and talking vintage drums and cymbals. Perfect clinic space back there.

Vinty.. that is exactly what I thought... "this shop has personality!"

Nice celebrity stuff Buddy Rich Orchestra kit, Jackson Five Vistalites, Billy Cobham Gretsch snare... Nice Vistalite collection in a variety of patterns.. the unique Trixon stuff... just a bunch of great sparkles and pearls.

Open trade offer... bring your vintage kit for anything new on the floor... I would suppose terms apply because they have some high dollar new stuff.

Couple snaps I took wandering around... took me a while to figure out how to size them. :)
