Talk of the devil...We were talking about Eddie today with Gary Ferguson (drummer on most Glenn Hughes albums some with Eddie Money , Gary Moore and others)...He told me that Eddie customized his huge Slingerland late 70's 5 ply set with a Camco Bass drum he used during the two year he spent with the Geezer Butler band...Eddie is a very respected custom builder in UK and once I missed a whole Eddie Ryan set on Ebay ...It went for like $300.00 not a lot more! I didnt put a lot of effort on trying to grab it because of the weird sizes 14,15,16,20 with a 6.5 snare but now Im killing myself for being such an idiot. I love the griffin badges on Eddie's drums and I know the quality is pretty high. Let me know if you want to sell /trade yours...

I remember reading about ER drums in the old International Musician and Recording World mags. One really odd thing that stuck with me was Ryan saying that he sawed his drum shells in half and glued them back together, in order to IMPEDE shell vibration.
