OK, so here's the finished product. Came out just great. Question now is how much to throw it on Craigslist for. $85 to start?

I'd say $100 to start. Someone will offer you less.
I had a a whole set of those root beer swirl drums, which I donated to a young woman in Texas who'd had her drums stolen. A bunch of us got together on DFO and contributed cymbals and hardware. Another guy restored the drums. The member who instigated this donation presented her with the drumset and she acted like she hated them and never even came online to say thanks. I could say more, but we'll let it go at that.
