+1 on that.The artstar line didn't come along till later in the 80's and when introduced had the same lugs/hardware as Superatars which were top of the line,with Imperialstars being next .Tama fiberstars also had the same lugs/hardware.Steve B
The Artstars did not use the same lugs on the drums as the Superstars, only on the snare. The rest of the hardware such as mounts, legs, t-handles was the same. The Artstar lugs were the long full length type. Pearts CAR Artstar prototype kit used Superstar lug hardware but none of the production kits did.
