Holliwood... nice drum. It appears to be Black Diamond Pearl, not Black Oyster. Two totally different finishes.

I was kinda thinkin.

I always get those two mixed up.

I was under the impression that "TAMA" didn't show up as a brand till 64/65 although I've seen Tama catalogs that had Star drums in em.

Actually, TAMA did not come into existence until 1974...it was Star up to that point.

After further research, I'm pretty convinced that this snare is a 1972 Deluxe student model snare in grey diamond pearl.
