Damn, Yoshi! What a great score! Sweet, rare drum. Must sound killer. Review the drum for us, please! I'd like to hear what you think.

Enjoy!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Wow, that is a fine looking snare, Yoshi!

If I would have been a German, I would have exclaimed:

"Diese Trommel ist sehr schön, Yoshi!"

Thanks kind words for drum gang!! Kiss

Yeah, I cannot review this badass very well, though.

Response is very quick and sensitive. Buzz roll is fine. The sound is fat and warm so this is an exact 60's Vintage Grestch sound we want. If you play 60's 4157 or any 5.5", you know what I mean!

This is not a high pitch tone but stresses a middle tone. Unlike 60's 4160, the sound is not tight but mellow, of course. The sound range is wide and deep because of 6.5". Stick definition is exceptional.

However, the sound itself is not noisy. Adjustment is easy due to the Microsensitive and 4 point strainer. Yes, it is double adjustment that works well like Luddy SuperSensitive. Low, middle, or high tuning is suitable, respectively. I don't feel a bad harmonic overtone at all.

However, this badass is expensive as you know!! So, I suppose 6ply&6.5" + Diecasthoops snare is a substitute to get the similar sound. Mine 6.5"+6ply snare(Steve Maxwell Custom) is similar at some point.

Anyway, thanks folks!
