Ink looks too small and and too new on the top! Hammering looks vintage though....
Check the 18" he has listed, as well. Weird, or what? :-)
Any thoughts?

yes i saw the listings as well. I am going to emil him about that. That seller usually has some good stuff for sale. By the Logo on top the Cymbals are def. recent models, and i think i can recognize serial numbers in the stamps....
Didn't Zildjian print K's on bottom for a short time a few years back?!
here's two pics from the 16" auction. the 18" looks similar...
The Auction text reads like this:
"I am offering a fantastic sounding and rare ZILDJIAN K 16 Zoll Dark Crash Thin (EAK?) . No flaws or cracks in great condition, look at the pics. The weight is about 1130 Gramm on my kitchen scales. collectors know what this is.... Open to realistic offers."
just emailed him, lets see...
another pic from the 18". you can clearly see the LAZERED (!!!) stamp, with some kind of serial as lowest engraving...
Just got a reply from the guy just saying: "Jaja....." (Yeahyeah...")
Whatever that's supposed o mean....
Not sure it is necessary to jump to the conclusion it is a scam. That implies mal-intent. The seller is possibly just misinformed.
It is not and EAK, but a recent K with the "r" registered trademark at the very lower right corner of the K on the back of the cymbal.
I e-mailed him and he answered " ? ".
Some "expert" have probably told him these are EAK.....
Your cymbal is possibly from the early 2000's when zildjian re-introduce the EAK-like Zildjians. They put a big ‘K’ on the bottom, because they figured we would think it was way-cool.
