Post pics. Items that will help would be the hoop style, throw off, snare frame, fasteners holding the lugs and hardware to the shell.

I have a 1968 badge from a 6.5 COB Dynasonic that was destroyed. Badge is decent. Drum was one of those Stair Hammered Dynasonics and unreparable.

Slotted Screws on the interior, Square cut tension rods, Elongated Swivomatic Throw off, My best guess is 1965. You should be seeking a 4 digit number in the 5xxx-6xxx range. A cleveland era black felt dampener, and an H frame for the wires.

Tommy P could probably date this closer.

Ploughman!...

I like the cut of your jib! Fine job on the dating, and I do concur. Problem for snaremania will probably be FINDING a Dynasonic badge within the year/serial appropriate for the drum based on the dating info you have supplied. That said...

I have in my vast amount of Rogers parts, a NICE Dynasonic badge/hardware that will of course LOOK absolutely correct on this drum... except... the serial number is #54652, placing this badge at approx. 1974. Still... to complete the drum and have it be aesthetically pleasing, it must have a badge. Perhaps grab one now for the "look", whilst keeping an eye peeled for one of the proper year... should one come available that is. Indeed.
