I have been buying vintage slingerland shells off of ebay (if anybody has some old slingy hardware contact me theclash140@yahoo.com) And I was thinking how sweet it would be to do a blue/gold duco finish on the drums. I know you think Im crazy but does anyone have any info that they may think will help? Has anyone ever attempted to do this? cheers. harrison.

Duco is back and most car painters can do a great job with this type of paint job.

In regards to hardware, what do you need?

I just finished putting a two tone blue duco finish on an old Pearl fiberglass kit and used metallic car paint. You can have a car painter do it and it will be great. I've actually done it with duplicolor can paints before as well. They're easy to use and look great.
