Sorry for your loss and difficulties as well , Andy. I've ordered a couple of times from Canada, which is a difficult problem because of the shipping costs and extra fees that the courier companies like to extract at the border. You did very well and where you slipped up, you promised to rectify the problem in future and it wasn't a very big deal anyway. I have never not been satisfied with your service and quality and will be ordering again. Personally, I think your product range, ease of access, communication and shipping speed are first rate. good luck; Phil in Ontario.

Andy... I am nothing if not sympathetic and empathetic to someone when I can understand completely what's going on. I thank you sincerely for taking the time to let us know what has been happening in both your business and personal life. Thanks for letting us all know.

Andy,

I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry that you have had to endure what many small business owners have had to deal with and that is dishonest employees. That is a complete drag.

To everyone,

This is indeed a niche industry and to assume that it should operate as something it is not is unreasonable. We need to support Drummaker, Precision, etc. Unfortunately the Internet allows us to air our grievances too quickly. Let's be sure to offer the same measure of grace to others that we want allotted to us.

The small business world is extremely difficult these days. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise.

Well said! In all honesty, I've supported both Drummaker and Precision Drum years before the internet. I still have the original postcard style mailer from Drummaker!

Should I order again from Andy, I only ask that I receive an honest shipping time. I can deal with any reasonable delays when I'm aware of them.

Greetings again to those of you who may be keeping up with the on going criminal investigation against drummaker.com/Andy Foote. I am now at 110 days and still Mr. Foote refuses to credit me back the 112.00. I am now going to prove to all of you 2 things, 1 is just how revelant this thread really is and 2 choose your words carefully because they may come back to haunt you. What I am about to say is in direct reference to Mr. Footes attempt to explaine his way out of once again another badly managed situation. Here we go, my original order was placed Wen. June 4 by phone. Received e-mail from drummaker June 5 showing receipt no# 112.00 was with-drawn out of my account. I canceled the order and requested my money back on Tues. July 9th. Mr. Foote begins his defense as stated in this thread on the first paragraph "THE FEW WEEKS OF MY WAIT", and goes on to say and I quote " WE DID LET YOU KNOW OF DELAY IN RESTOCKING YOUR ITEMS. THE FEW WEEKS OF YOUR WAIT INCLUDED NEARLY A WEEK OF NATIONAL HOLIDAY and goes on. I am now going to show you the 2nd e-mail he sent me dated June 18 and I quote "SHORT DELAY WITH THE DC1410hoops.THIS ORDER WILL BE SHIPPING SHORTLY TRACKING WILL E-MAIL HERE AS IT LEAVES OUR SHOP, end of e-mail. If you want to do business with this man you must first understand his way of thinking, in Andy world 5 weeks is only a FEW WEEKS not 5 weeks, a few weeks, he has even managed to create his own calender and time warp. Well I have good news for those of you and god knows theres a lot of you who may be confused about the order you have placed or the passing of time and lack of communication hopefully this will help for I have spent the time to dee-code and learn the rare Andy hamitic language. Now did any of you read any where the words " delay in restocking" in the e-mail? You didn't because it's not there, it's not there because you have not learned the Andy hamitic language yet, this will come in time. He was told last time if he ever let me place an order and he did not have it in house on a shelf ready to go don't take my money. Now he went on to say WE WERE NOT AT ALL AVOIDING CONTACTING YOU-WE RECEIVED YOUR VOICE MAILS JUST AFTER RETURNING FROM HOLIDAY DOWNTIME he really likes that word downtime. He did get one thing right, he has an S on voice mails, plural-more than one as in several. I love this line- WE DID E-MAIL WITH "DETAILS" WITH IN MINUTES. THEN, AS WE GOT FREE CALLED YOU BACK WITH IN HOURS WITH EFFORTS TO HELP TAKE CARE OF THINGS. The phone call back he is referring to came on July 9 the same day I canceled the order, 5 weeks, actual working weeks. Andy, heres what Websters concise international dictionary says about the word AVOID---to keep away or at a distance from; shun, evade. To make void, empty, deprive. I WANT MY MONEY do you understand, I am not going away, I will continue this course of action right up to the moment I receive my 112.00 and no time sooner. You yourself have placed me in the position of whistle blower, you have, no one else, can't blame this one on a flood, lightning, dirty laundry, down time,in grown toe nail, holidays, heart burn, supliers, on and on and on. Pull your big boy panties up and do your do diligence sir,do what all of us have to do and work till midnight if that what it takes every night until you get it done and done right, all these excuses. come on man. You boxed me into a corner and I have deceided to take on the challenge hell or high water. If you needed to borrow 112.00 you should have asked. Have a nice day Andy, lunch was on me. Stay tuned guys, more to come, major prime time networks may want this for the next reality TV show, chow.

So I looked at this place today for my 3 slingy bd lugs with credit card in hand and thought of this thread.

Should I trust this guy to deliver in any kind of a timely fashion or look else where? I'm reasonably patient but not enuf to endure endless waits with no communication.

you'd be crazy to

anyone who uses the interwebs to apologize for ripping someone off shouldn't be trusted; all the "ripoff" scam artists in the "drum" world all follow the same methods

and continue to do so
