Drum sale part 1

New prices listed, highlighted in red.

Hello drum mates, I am selling off my drum kits (most of them), I figured it’s time to let someone else enjoy them. Some of the drums and parts came from VDF members as a trade for my finishing and I feel bad about selling those because I really respect the people on VDF that I have helped me out over the years. I am selling only the drums and mounts for toms, some kits will have floor tom legs, some wont. No stands, cymbals, pedals or other hardware is included. Please send a private message to me if you have interest in one of the drum sets, I will be happy to give you my phone number so you can call and ask questions. I will attempt to give a brief description of each kit.

#1 is a Slingerland kit re-wrapped in WMP from Jammin Sams. The wrap was done by me using the tape method. The shells are 3 ply with rings. All drums have maple interiors except the 13”, its mahogany. Sizes are 13,16,18,24 and the snare is a 14”solid maple shell that has gone through some major repairs. Heads fit tight on the snare drum but it plays great. These drums were pieced together with parts from VDF and Ebay, some parts might not be correct but they work. Threads I did on the drums.

#2 is another Slingerland kit. The shells were purchased from Ebay. The shells are five ply. Most of the hardware came from a member on VDF. The hardware was stripped from one of those Slingerland kits with cardboard shells. The sizes are 13,16,18,22 and the snare is a 5x14 3ply with black and gold badge. The 16” floor tom is a five ply with maple inside and mahogany out that I veneered with maple. The finish is a red dye I had sitting around the shop which actually matched the interior pretty good. They are finished in a satin lacquer (conversion varnish). 700.00

#3 is a nice Pearl President set in original red oyster wrap. Sizes are 13,16,22 with a 5.5x14 10 lug matching snare drum. The shells are the Phenolic structure. Some holes in the bass drum. 700.00

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Don't be afraid to make me an offer, I had to put a price on here as per the rules and that was difficult to do given the way the market is these days

Thank you!

Correction made today, the Pearl Modern jazz set has 20" bass drum, not a 22".

Thank you!

Good luck with your sales, Jeff. Hopefully, you've kept a few kits "in-house".
