I'm glad I left the door open for you. I'm also glad you dig them.

I didn't think they were bad drums, but with their condition and fading, they weren't "must haves" for me. You certainly got a good deal at your $80 price.

Another reason that I turned them away is that I already have a 12"/14"/20" MIJ kit in Blue Onyx, that are in much better shape, to go along with 3 ply shells with re-rings. Wrap and shells are in better shape, and I didn't pay all that much more for them.

I hope you have fun with them and you can send that thank you note to me in care of the forum! Ha ha!

Jday, the 12" toms are original to this kit. Star sold many stencils as well in this config. DrumMate was one of Star's own brands and were considered their budget line.
