Those are very good cases....I've used similar hard cases for all my drums since 1965 and they've traveled with me all over the US without any damage....even when exposed to pouring rain in an open trailer (though the cases did warp, the drums remained dry and protected). I'd always recommend hard cases over soft cases, especially if you are on the road or constantly gigging. The first slip with a soft case will make you wish you had a hard case....and vice versa the first drop with a hard case will make you glad you have them, believe me.
