This is a Drouyn (pronounced Drew-in) 14 x 8 from the 1970's, they where made in Brisbane Australia. The company started producing drums in the 1930's under the name Dandy drums. This drum is 5 ply (4 inner ply Rose Alder 1 outer ply Queensland Maple). It has had a hard life but still sounds fantastic.

The Drouyn factory closed in the early 1990's.
