Drilling bigger holes in wrap

Sorry for the many questions, but I am a newbie . . .

I have seen tips/posts etc about how to redrill holes for lugs, etc after re-wrapping a shell. But what to folks do to make larger holes in a wrap for things like for a disappearing kick leg or tom mount?

I use a wood tapered hand reemer, from Home Depot or similar hardware store. Drill a small hole, and then slowly enlarge it to match the wood shell.
